Botox & Dermal Fillers
Injection-based cosmetic procedures like Botox and dermal fillers are often administered in a doctor's office. They don't require surgery because they are minimally invasive.
Botox contains purified bacteria that freeze muscles. In doing so, Botox can help minimize the appearance of lines and wrinkles caused by facial expressions.
Dermal fillers contain ingredients that add fullness to areas that have thinned due to aging. This thinning is common in the cheeks, lips, and around the mouth.
People should be aware of the costs and risks of treatments and have realistic expectations of what they can do.
Only wrinkles brought on by muscular muscle action can be treated with Botox. Dynamic wrinkles, sometimes known as ``expression lines,`` are those.
The lines on the top side, such as the ``11`` between the brow, lines on the head, and crow's feet around the eyes, are the most typical dynamic lines that Botox can address. Smiling, pouting, frowning, and other facial emotions all contribute to the formation of these lines.
Small lines and wrinkles brought on by sagging or a lack of facial plumpness will not be treated with Botox. Static wrinkles are what these are. Cheek, neck, and cheek wrinkles are examples of static wrinkles.
