Schizophrenia
A persistent brain illness called schizophrenia affects one percent of the population. Delusions, hallucinations, confused speech, difficulty thinking, and a lack of desire are all possible signs of schizophrenia. However, most schizophrenia symptoms will significantly improve with treatment, and the risk of a relapse can be reduced.
Symptoms
There are three main groups of symptoms:
Positive symptoms consist of hallucinations like hearing voices or seeing things that aren't part of their paranoia and distorted or exaggerated perceptions beliefs and actions (those that are abnormally present).
Negative symptoms: (those abnormally absent) a reduction or loss of the capacity to make decisions speak communicate emotions or enjoy oneself.
Disorganized Symptoms: Disorientation includes confusion disorganized speech difficulty thinking logically and occasionally odd behavior or aberrant gestures.
